Why didn't Seiya just chop off Deathmagla's head instead of his hand with his Dimension Blade attack?
There was a possibility that Deathmagla had an effect that triggers upon receiving a killing blow, which could worsen the situation. This is proven true as Seiya's attempt to kill him with a fire/holy water attack was negated by a powerful fire summon.
