Headscratchers / Superbook (2011)

  • Why is Satan in this adaptation designed with two sets of wings while his natural demonic form has one set? Is this referencing some text in the Bible about his form?
    • Possibly creative license on the part of the showrunners, as a way of emphasizing Satan's former high position in his past identity as Lucifer (as portrayed in this series).
  • Why did Superbook dress Phoebe (Chris's mother) in an era-appropriate outfit when she joins Chris, Joy and Gizmo in 'He Is Risen!' while this (usually) isn't done with Chris, Joy, and the children they travel with?
    • Just a guess, but perhaps because as an adult Phoebe would have stood out way more if she remained in her contemporary clothes; whereas the kids usually don't get that much focus from Bible-era adults (except Jesus, of course) because of the whole mindset of "children must be seen and not heard."
