• Bashir apparently beams right into Tain’s house, despite Tain being the former head of the Obsidian Order. Tain mentioned alerting security that Bashir was coming to Cardassian space, but why would Julian think he can just beam right into Tain’s living room?
  • Julian doesn't yet know Tain knows he's coming. The military lets him through, which is weird, but he has a patient's life to worry about, no time to waste on that. He probably scanned Tain's home, saw there were no shields, and beamed down. If there had been shields, he would've probably tried hailing Tain, or beamed down somewhere else and walked the rest of the way.
