Headscratchers / Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins

Go To

  • When Shaggy tells Daphne and Fred what is in his snacks, soon to be dubbed “Scooby Snacks” he says that there’s cocoa in them. Isn’t chocolate poisonous to dogs?
    • Maybe not to Scooby.
  • The entire premise behind the original Scooby-Doo series, and by extension the whole franchise in general, is that the supposed supernatural the gang comes across are all hoaxes and this is maintained by their steady belief that ghosts aren't real. This movie about their Origin Story has actual ghosts in it, so what the hell is with their skepticism after this adventure?
    • Well the gang HAS encountered real monsters before throughout the franchise.
    • Alternate Continuity. Plus, they doubt they'll actually encounter real ghosts again. But Scooby and Shaggy are always worried they might.
      • In a way it actually makes it make more sense that they'd ever, even slightly, entertain the possibility that the ghosts might be real, they knew that there was a chance they could be real, but they doubted it would be a recurring issue for them.
