  • How exactly did Vladimir Kocaqi gain his Stand? According to him, Rainy Day Dream Away first formed when he lost his sister to the Nazi regime's invasion of Italy in World War II. However, not only has it been proven that Stands weren't a thing during the time of Battle Tendency, but through Polnareff's story during Golden Wind, we learned that Stands were first brought into the world as early as 1978, a good three decades after WWII. Given how wise of a person Kocaqi is, how did he make such a logical fallacy?
    • Not necessarily? Enya, according to her account, had had her Stand all her life, and considering Stardust Crusaders took place in 1988, I don't think that Vladimir having his Stand then is too farfetched.
    • Stands have existed since the ancient times, based on the existence of Anubis.
    • The original source of Stands is the Stand Meteor, which crashed 50,000 years ago circa 2001. The Stand Arrows made from this meteor allowed Humans and Animals to develop Stands without being near the impact site. Descendants of these individuals had the latent ability to develop Stands, as shown with Avdol, Kakyoin, Polnareff and Iggy, who never interacted with the arrows (directly or indirectly) before Part 3. Diavolo’s discovery and sale of the Stand Arrows allowed Stand abilities to proliferate rapidly in the late 70s and early 80s, but the phenomena existed millennia beforehand.
  • Cannolo surmises that Colony Stands are the result of people having corrupt, yet not necessarily evil souls. Examples like Shigechi or Risotto Nero make sense, but does Cannolo not know who Tonio Trussardi is? Especially considering the fact that he's Massimo Volpe's brother?
    • He probably didn't know about him. He should know about Rissoto (who waited four years to kill the man who killed his cousin) since he was part of Passione. After learning about Shigechi (who was ready to leave Josuke blind for money) and Keicho (who was using the arrow on everyone on sight so a stand user can be born to kill his father [not caring if they survive or not], and at one point he shoot his own brother on his face with the bullets form Bad Company), he probably came with that conclusion.
    • Tonio likely deals with a lot of baggage from his family’s own corruption, as well as probably guilt for abandoning them to pursue his dreams. Pearl Jam’s status as a colony stand is contrasted by its healing ability - Tonio is good at heart, but broken in ways most people can’t see.
