• Why would a nation that prides itself in racial equality allow the continued presence of an Academy that not only openly protests the nation's toleration of Undead, but also openly encourages and supports hate crimes against them?
  • Because if they put their foot down, they are going to be accused of putting the undead above everyone else and thus not really being for equality. Even if those accusations would be baseless, it would put a serious dent in their image of a nation that is about racial equality. It's a Scylla and Charybdis situation for them, as no matter what they choose it's not going to be good, and so they chose to ignore the persecution of a single race.
