Headscratchers / Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms

• Why does Maquia leave Ariel at the end? I know she had to save the last Renato along with Lellia to go rebuild her homeland, but she couldn't have visited him periodically over the years, before he's in his deathbed?
  • Even if she wanted to but there's still the matter of people who might be searching for the Iorphs for their immortality. Maquia didn't want to bring trouble to her boy and his family.
• Related to the above, how did she get those massive chains off the renato anyways?
  • Probably damaged during the fight or the keys were just left there.
• If the Kingdom of Mezarte wanted to introduce Iorph blood into their royal family, why do they not peacefully arrange a royal marriage of alliance with the Iorph instead of storming their village, massacring the Iorph and taking their women?
  • Would the Iorph want their blood shared with evil men? No.
