Headscratchers / Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin

• Are there really no female dogs (besides Cross at least) who'd want to get involved in the ongoing conflict, even if it's preferred they don't? Not just the dogs of Ouu but also the wolves don't seem to have any visible female presence whatsoever, and it's especially jarring in the latter case since they'd presumably have to in order to not have died out long ago.
