  • In the first game, several members of the Awakened state that the canisters kill serviles who try to use them. However, if you play the fourth or fifth game as a servile, canisters work the same for you as for human characters. What's the explanation? A retcon? The Awakened being misinformed? An effect of the Geneforge? Something else entirely?
    • Pretty sure it's an effect of the Geneforge, as the fourth or fifth games have you use the Geneforge very early on or before the game started, respectively.
    • Justified, in that the canisters developed in the first game were made specifically with human Shapers in mind; the idea that creations would gain the ability to shape would have been met with instant death to any who tried. By the fourth and fifth, however, the rebellion is in full swing, and with the drakons in charge, you can bet that they've found ways to make the canisters work for creations, too.
  • In the second game, there is at least one female guardian, and Zakary states that Barzahl could have been a good agent. Yet, by five, a female guardian is seen as highly unusual, and male agents are unheard of. What happened in those interim fifty years between Two and Five to change this?
