- Why didn't Chen give an anonymous tip to the police and/or warn his school about the upcoming attack between leaving the Japanese school and returning later? At the very least, enough time's past for him to change clothes and the sun to go down, and the Japanese weren't going anywhere.
- The Japanese don't choose to murder the rest of the school until after Chen leaves the room, and the boss of the Japanese whispers this information to his second. It's easy to imagine that Chen legitimately did not know about the upcoming attack until he arrives back at the school after his Roaring Rampage of Revenge.
- Furthermore, it's plainly stated that the Japanese have so much influence that they basically own the police.
- If the Japanese school called a real phone repair company and Chen took so long to get there to pretend to do the repairs, how did he get there before the actual repairman?
