  • Chen takes on a whole Japanese karate dojo by himself and whups them all! This was after they brought his Chinese Kung Fu school a sign which read "Sick Men of Asia," and claimed they would eat their words if any Chinese could beat them. After beating the dojo, Lee tears up the paper and stuffs it in one representative's mouth, with a none-too-subtle warning:
This time, you're eating paper. The next time, it's gonna be glass!
  • Chen is denied entry to a park and is pointed to a sign that says "No Dogs and Chinese Allowed." The Indian guard lets a foreign woman take her dog in, and a Japanese guy tells Lee he'll let him in if he acts like a dog. Lee proceeds to beat up the Japanese guy and his friends and then smashes the sign with a flying kick. This scene received a roar of applause from Chinese audiences on its first showing. This is Truth in Television, as the Japanese did view the Chinese as subhuman creatures inferior to them.
  • A rare non-Bruce Lee one, the Jingwu school actually gives as good as it got in the first fight against the karate school. Sadly, it did in the second fight. The two sides end up killing each other.
  • Petrov's demonstration. Later, he actually stuns Chen with some punches during their fight, and in general is the antagonist who puts up the best fight against Chen.
  • An awesome moment for Bruce Lee and then Stuntman Jackie Chan. Chan doubled for Suzuki's actor for the flying kick scene taking the kick and flying a few feet out the window. It becomes a Heartwarming Moment when Lee, checks to see if Chan is alright after said stunt. Bear in mind Jackie Chan was a teenager when he did the stunt.
  • A combined Tear Jerker: the ending. After offing Suzuki, Petrov, and a good majority of the Japanese dojo, Chen returns to his school to find his comrades dead. He then overhears a conversation that the school might face the consequences of his actions. Chen offers himself to save the school and is led away... only to face a firing squad of foreign detectives and Japanese soldiers. Knowing that he may die no matter what he does, Chen howls one last Kiai before delivering a jump kick...just as the detectives open fire and the movie ends on a freeze-frame.
    • A ray of hope does come from Real Life: the real Chen survived and escaped (in)justice.
