Headscratchers / Fanboy and Chum Chum

  • After turning a professor into a dessert, why does Kyle keep getting chances for readmittance into Milkweed Academy (chances that are usually handled by said professor)?
    • What's more, Professor Flan (after the episode "Crib Notes") seems as if he's already buried the hatchet with Kyle, even though the transformation seems permanent and Kyle once said he was still interested in turning Professor Flan into plum pudding (as he had meant to do in the first place).
    • In "Crib Notes", Prof. Flan said, "I look forward to denying you in the future." Guess that explains it.

  • How old are Fanboy and Chum Chum?
    • Either 10 or 11, since they're stated to be in fifth grade and Kyle (who's in their class) says he's a preteen wizard.
    • Chum-Chum is younger but Mr. Mufflin didn't notice the difference.

  • Where are Fanboy, Chum Chum, and Kyle's parents?
    • They're Minors Living Alone.
    • If they don't need parents why does Oz need to live with his mom?
    • An explanation is that the parents are offscreen, as we don't see the other kids' parents. They do mention their grandparents.

  • In "Dollar Day", Fanboy and Chum Chum are able to buy two Frosty Freezy Freezes for one dollar, even though posters throughout the Frosty Mart show that one drink each costs 99 cents.
  • Despite having their vision impaired in different ways, Boog and Lenny both imagine the same monster in "Monster in the Mist".
    • They were talking about a monster from some sort of movie and the visual impairment plus the monster being on their mind may have led to that.
