Sure, Carlito just managed his club to make some money and disaplear, he wasn't dealing with anyone in anything criminal. But how did he get that $25k he started out with? Oh yeah, not a month after his release he escorted his cousin who was delivering said money to some street gang as a payment, they killed the boy, Carlito shot them dead and made off with the money. That's mass murder and money laundering right there. It also happened in broad daylight, at a club on a busy street, with gunshots firing and Carlito leaving alone with a gun he casually discarded in a dumpster around the corner. For a cop that's fanatically watching his every move waiting for a chance to throw him back behind bars, Norwalk is practically blind.
