Headscratchers / Blue Beetle (2023)

• The characters seem to know a lot about Batman that people in-universe wouldn't know:
  • They compare Ted Kord's base to the Bat-Cave but I don't think people in the DCU would know that exists.
  • The uncle says that Ted Kord being the Blue Beetle makes sense because he's a reclusive billionaire but the former trope "Rich Idiot with No Job"^note disambiguated into Crimefighting with Cash, Idle Rich, Upper-Class Twit among others existed because Batman media exists. People in the DCU don't know that Batman is Bruce Wayne or the Green Arrow is Oliver Queen.
    • Reverses into Fridge Brilliance: Many times, Zorro was the In-Universe inspiration for Batman. Of course a Latin family would be referencing tropes from a famous Latino hero.
    • Rudy probably just figured that a tech-based superhero would need a lot of money, and that superhero work explains why he was reclusive.
  • It's possible that Bruce Wayne revealed himself to be Batman in this new Shared Universe ala Tony Stark.
