  History of family illness? No. Known mental impairments? Friends with Pikachu. Blood type? Red. Ethnicity? Dark-type.
• Professor Oak's reasoning for letting Ash become a trainer? He couldn't think of a reason not to.
• Brock eventually joins up with Ash and company. When Ash reveals the truth to him, he's more concerned with how poorly Ash has been taking care of himself than the fact his friend is a Pokémon.
• Blaine. While in disguise as an Innkeeper he acts like a stoned out hippy, calling an undisguised Ash a "weird magic Vulpix" and reasurring him that "nobody believes me about the talking Pokémon." Later, when Ash has his disguise back up and is trying to get into his room, Blaine tells him it belongs to the Magical Vulpix. When Ash then drops his disguise, Blaine tells him someone was just trying to get into his room. The blatant Trolling by what's ostensibly the region's strongest Gym Leader is sure to get a laugh. And it doesn't stop there. Once the disguise has been shed Blaine shows himself to be quite the showman, acting more like a game show announcer than a Gym leader, complete with having a buzzer system built into his Gym.
• Butch, after Ash pretends to be Giovanni and getting his name wrong, gets so fed up with his treatment that he quits on the spot.
  "Wha- Are you kidding? Kill the prisoner? No! And for the last time! MY. NAME. IS. BUTCH! SCREW YOU BOSS! I QUIT!"
• Upon seeing Ash's clone, Karen slowly raises a pokeball, only for Brock to push her arm down.
