Wh-What? Gyarados, you're not even trying.
Being a webcomic series that focuses primarily on comedy, with some even saying this series to be a worthy successor to Brawl in the Family, it is inevitable to see a variety of humor in their comics.

Pokémon - Galar Border Patrol

  • Part 1:
    • Among the Pokemon waiting in line at the border is a Sceptile wearing a Charizard costume.
    • The Pangoro guard breaks the Zoroark's illusion by using Karate Chop on his head.
    • The Galar Border sign has "Blue was here! Red is a loser!" written on it.
  • Part 2:
    • "Paul" (a Pangoro-disguised Ditto) needs to take a break, but before he can, Greg (his partner, genuine) decides to tickle him for old times sake. Despite being a (near) ironclad disguise, somehow Greg knew that his partner was a Ditto trying to get in!
    • The other disguises that didn't get in include several blatantly obvious ones, but the cake goes to the Gyarados disguised as a Caterpie.
  • Part 3. Zoroark's recent scheme to get in Galar? Become a Galarian Zoroark. It's his "Galarian Form", his Failed a Spot Check with a part of his disguise, and Greg knowing it's a fake, but sizes up Zoroark until a certain Pokémon wants their leek back.
  • Part 4. Arceus (a God), not allowed into Galar, and Charizard being branded 'Lord and Savior'? The sheer Irony of that is hilarious.
  • Part 5 reveals that the Zoroark got into Galar by disguising himself as a Charizard, with him commenting that it was a great idea. The lights then turn on, revealing that the Zoroark is in a stadium and Leon is ordering him to Gigantamax. Cue the Zoroark getting confused about the order, subsequently followed by him panicking when faced with Lucas' giant Wooper.
    • The final panel has a Funny Background Event where a TV screen shows Leon declaring that he didn't know that "his Charizard" was just a random Zoroark, so his loss didn't count and he's still undefeated.
  • Part 7:
    • A trainer picks a "Scorbunny" (really Zoroark) as his starter, but finds something strangely wrong with his moves and stats (he's level 60, Dark-type, originally from Unova, and knows Night Daze, Flamethrower, Focus Blast, and Grass Knot). He decides to use Flamethrower, which incinerates Hop's Grookey. Hop, Leon, and Charizard finds this suspicious... only to conclude that the trainer already knew about type advantages. Zoroark gestures to the trainer to keep quiet.
    • Leon's face suddenly changes to a Roblox smiley face.
    • In the last panel, the lines on the Trainer's hat form the "Loss" meme.
  • Part 8. The local trainer decides to let Zoroark tag along with him, but the Pokemon doesn't see why he is letting himself be poked by a Grookey. Sure enough, it was a way to level the Pokemon up to Jojo proportions.
  • Part 9: Urshifu definitely Didn't Think This Through when he publicly fired the two Pangoro right in front of the Pokemon they're supposed to keep out.
  • Part 12:
    • The real reason the Route 5 daycare gives you a Toxel for free: it poisons all the other Pokemon, fries the building's electrical equipment, looks grumpy and cries all day, it can't be released because it'll mess up the route's biodiversity, it can't be surprise traded away because the daycare canceled their Nintendo Switch Online subscription to buy diapers, and killing the Toxel is off the table for moral reasons.
    • A Gengar and a Perrserker can be seen cowering before the Toxel, despite their typings making them immune to getting poisoned, though the latter might be worried about getting electrocuted due to its Steel type.

Other

  • The entire Thanos Preparing for Endgame arc has him coming up with plans for dealing with the remaining heroes each with a ridiculous Imagine Spot. For his plan on Captain Marvel though, he just decides to kill Goose... and finds himself unable to.
  • A villager tries to make a tarantula a citizen, which Tom Nook refuses because it's a bug (an arachnid, actually). The villager then asks if a squid can join, which Tom Nook also refuses because they're considered wild and non-sentient. Unfortunately for him, Zucker (an anthropomorphic octopus, who is related to squids) is standing right there and gets extremely insulted. Nook then explains that anything on the Critterpedia cannot move in. The villager is outraged that Tom Nook has a whole list and Zucker calls the cops. After two chaotic panels of the villager and Nook arguing and Copper (who isn’t in New Horizons at the time of the comic) coming in to arrest the latter, the last panel shows the tarantula from the beginning (named Greg) peacefully living in the village, saying hi to his neighbor Phil.
    • "Visit Tarantula Island! Sure, you might die, but think about the bells!"
    • "Please limit JoJo references to one a day! Thank you. -the staff"
    • In the sixth panel, Greg can be seen hiding under a rock while the squid is camouflaging itself as if to hide from the ordeal.
  • A comic done to celebrate the author's 30th birthday features him along with a bunch of other video game characters who also celebrated their 30th anniversaries in 2021.
    • Yoshi and Captain Falcon are attending the party despite first debuting in 1990, though the latter is referring to the North American release date of their games. Cammy also attends despite her debuting two years after the other Street Fighter II characters who are in the party.
    • Terry's hat has the words "Boomer Fury" on it.
    • The preview for the bonus panel shows Tracer and Joker, two characters who celebrated their 5th anniversaries in 2021, presumably at a kid's table.
  • Every now and then there will be a "Shitpost week" with some ridiculous and hilarious post, like a Fakémon based on Morbius.
