Funny / Wolverine and the X-Men (2009)

• In "Wolverine vs. the Hulk", Wolverine tries to warn the Hulk that the Wendigo is behind him, but can only blurt out "Hulk...behind". This causes the Hulk to assume that Wolverine is insulting him, so he replies with "HULK NOT A BEHIND!"
  • Wolverine forcing Banner Hulk on Fury as revenge for using them as test subjects for Wendigo. A few seconds later, Wolvie is punched far away, and upon landing, his own remark is to tell Fury to have fun.
• From "Backlash", Kitty is stuck babysitting Tildie when the MRD shows up, and we get this gem as Kitty's trying to keep Tildie calm:
  "Trust me, everything's going to be alright, there's no need to go and create a big hundred-foot-tall monster that's gonna step on the mansion! You stay here with the professor and I'll go get us some chips, a couple of sodas and maybe a board game! Everything's going to be fine! Okay?"
  • The indignant "I told you so" look Tilde gives when Kitty sees MRD agents through the peephole.
  • Toad panics as he's surrounded by Sentinels, then assumes that he's somehow caused them to shut down after Wolverine destroys the central computer.
• In "Hunting Grounds" the little face Wanda makes when Nightcrawler rather bluntly tells Mojo "She's not the love of my life." It's more like a child's disappointment than a woman scorned.
• In "Time bomb", we get this gem when Quicksilver explains to Domino why they're at an MRD facility
  Quicksilver: Two words: new manpower, or is that three?
  • Domino's reaction to this just sells it even more
  • Also in the same episode, Quicksilver goes see toad at the MRD facility, but not to break him out, but to tell him that he's disgusting, he always mess things up and he always get captured by the MRD. Then, Quicksilver takes a picture of Toad's reaction with his camera and turns to leave.
  • Later in the episode, the X-Men and the Brotherhood are facing off. Wolverine anticipates Quicksilver attacking from behind only for Quicksilver to be frozen by Iceman at the last moment. Wolverine reacts in frustration:
  Wolverine: WILL YOU PEOPLE STOP SAVING ME?!
  Then, he get shot by Domino.
• In "Hindsight Part 2", Rogue attempts to keep a low profile when an MRD vehicle pulls up next to The Brotherhood
  Rogue: Look, nobody do anything stupid.
  [Toad almost immediately spits on one of the agents]
  Toad: Hit it!
