Season 1
- Ben tries to convince Alex to skip school and go to the pool hall with him, saying offhand that they've never skipped English class before. For some reason, it's skipping English class that Alex latches onto and considers the most compelling argument, prompting a chibified version of the two to mischievously run off.
- Alex, Ben, and Gerard try out a punching machine. Alex goes first and is predictably beaten by Ben, who gets 970 out of 999. Gerard goes last and uses a kick to get the full 999, the other two screaming that he's a cheater while he wears a shit-eating grin.
- Ben's excuse for not joining Alex and the rest of their friends for a dinner wager at the pool hall:Ben: There's a feast of stewed ribs waiting for me at home. F-E-A-S-T. I'm not about to go through labour to eat your peasant food.
- Grey easily beating Stephen in Takkan 7 while Stephen grows increasingly more panicked, ending in him yelling at Grey when Grey casually reveals that he can play so well because he read and memorised the entire game manual.
- Eugene seeing Colton beaten to a pulp after a run-in with Alex and immediately assuming that Gray was responsible.
- Jake Ji's comically overblown reaction to a manga character dying:Jake: There's no way!! Tell Oda to come see me! I have a bone to pick with him!
Dean: Haa.
Jake: How can you not see the serious nature of this catastrophe??!! You emotionless psycho, Dean Kwan! - Ben slapping a large white N on the back of Gerard's green hair so that he resembles the Naver logo.
- Eugene wants to ask about a kitten's well-being after Teddy took it home, but is too scared. Then Teddy sidles up and whispers in his ear:Teddy: The kitten's safe and healthy. The name's Co. Co is very loving and loves me a lot.
Eugene: [thinking] You sound like a kidnapper. - Gerard's bravado getting the better of him in the fight against Hyeongshin:Gerard: I ain't got time for this... so all of you, just come at me...
[The three punks glare at him]
Gerard: [with a faltering smile] One at a time, maybe..? - Rowan freaking out when he realises that his nerdy friend Eugene is friends with the most powerful fighters in his school. Especially when he realises it with Ben, who responds (with deformed Black Bead Eyes) that he has no idea who Rowan is.
Season 2
- While Lily is doodling pictures of Gray, her friend calls out to her. She panics, slams her book shut over her hand, and then has to talk to her friend while casually pretending that her hand isn't red and swollen.
- After Ben gets his ass kicked in a fighting game, Gray takes his place, claiming that he hasn't played in a while. Cue him chaining four of the hardest combo in the game, prompting Ben to call him Master.
- Rowan tries to convince Eugene that his story about a girl destroying his bag is true:Eugene: No, I trust you...
Rowan: Then what's with that look?!
Eugene: It's my look of trust... [laser beams shoot out his eyes] - When Gerard skips on a chance to play pool, Alex wonders if he and Ben should follow him discreetly. Then he remembers that Ben doesn't know the meaning of the discreet, and decides to subtly excuse himself and follow Gerard alone. His idea of 'subtle' is yelling "See you tomorrow!" and chasing immediately after Gerard.
- There's an extremely dramatic moment where Gerard grabs Rowan by the shoulder, his face framed in dire shadow as he says... that the gang had pizza without him. Then fire alights in his eyes as he silently demands to be invited next time.
- When young Ben starts to outgrow Alex, he reassures his friend by telling him that drinking plenty of milk will help him grow. It then cuts to a panel of Alex chugging down cartons of milk, and then to a bathroom stall with Ben laughing his ass off.
- Ben and Alex get into one of their lighthearted squabbles. To illustrate this, one panel stylizes the duo as Simpsons characters, with Ben grabbing Alex's neck in a two-handed choke hold. Of course, Ben didn't actually do this and both are fine in the end.
- Episode 107 starts with a dramatic stand-off between Ben and a flock of pigeons, which he scares off by copying a fighting game move while the rest of the gang look on in bemusement.
- Grape calls up Eunchan to get some intel from him. They meet up and Eunchan hands over the folder, at the same time inviting Grape to the celebration of Eunchan's suspension getting lifted. Grape is unenthused until he opens the folder and realises that half the info has been replaced with a doodle of Eunchan with his tongue out, promising to give the rest of the intel at the celebration. Grape turns to curse at Eunchan, who is now an excited stick figure in the far background.
- One of the group's nameless friends is present in some of the group shots during the Jake vs. Ben fight. This goes unnoticed until the very end, when Gerard suddenly speaks up.Gerard: By the way... who's that other kid with the glasses? The one who looks like Eugene but isn't Eugene?
Season 3
- Lily banging her head against her bedroom wall as she realises long after the fact that she lent her schoolnotes to Gray without erasing her Love Doodles of him.
- Episode 132 has the boys all fooling around in the classroom. Rowan tries to beat Alex in a mock-fight by pointing behind Alex and yelling "Flasher!"- when Alex turns around, one of the other Gonk boys has stripped his shirt off his shoulder (much to Alex's disgust). Then Rowan throws himself on top of Alex, followed by Ben and a few other students until there's a big pile of kids on the floor.
- Rowan and Ben make a MeTube video heaping praise onto Ttosikki Chicken. Between the ridiculous praise ("THEY MUST'VE DOSED THIS CHICKEN WITH DRUGS!!") and the hilarious screen caps (a box of picked-clean chicken bones with the caption GRAVEYARD OF A CHICKEN), it's both a great send-up of some Youtube videos and pretty damn funny on its own.
- Middle school Gerard breaks his finger taking out some goons, something his band member is none too pleased to find out.Gerard: Well, the doctor says I can take the cast off in two weeks.
Jinu: And how will you practise in those two weeks?
Gerard: ...I'll play it in my head...
Jinu: [spouting flames] AAAHHH! - A friendly musician warns Gerard and friends about getting a raw deal from band agents. A montage of musicians who've been screwed over then flashes up- including, apparently, a black cat who got his concert fees stolen.
- In the fight between Cheongang and Yeongdeungpo, Jaeryeong gathers together his men with a rallying cry. Dongha mocks him for it and calls for his own men to pay attention... only for them all to ignore him, too absorbed in the fighting. He smiles, swears, and gets a fist to the face.
- Gerard and Teddy were working part-time at Toby's chicken eatery. Gerard moving supplies while Teddy was in a cat mascot suit handing out flyers. When Gerard calls to Teddy by name, he angrily subjects him to a wrestling move while still in the mascot costume, angrily saying to keep his identity a secret.
Other
- An ad at the end of Chapter 154 starring the Weak Hero cast has Grey and Wolf team up in what looks to be a fistfight against Jake and Jimmy... until they all whip out their phones and intensely battle each other in a mobile game, with Teddy looking on in pure confusion.
