Funny / The Very Best (A Pokemon Roleplay)

There are plenty of funny moments in the roleplay. Sometimes, the authors get up to some amusing antics in the ooc, too.

IC

• Ezra's entire introduction post. It basically consists entirely of Hoots being a Silent Snarker towards Ezra while he laments his broken bike and broken wallet.
• There isn't anything inherently funny about Jay disguising himself as a woman, but what he says directly before that is certainly chuckle worthy.
  Jay: I am going to hate myself after this..
• There is, of course, the main page quote:
  Ezra just hoped they weren't in over their heads in all of this.
  BackSet: Ezra you poor, poor boy.
• Almost any post with Lisia but especially her first appearance.
• Ezra talks about how he once got attacked by a Luxray and Mare quips that he's inherited Professor Birch's talent for being mauled by Pokemon. Queen offers up an explanation for this: He smells terrible.
  • Later on we discover that apparently most humans don't smell pleasant to Queen. Mare's response:
  Mare: Wow. Harsh.

OOC

• Wattson explaining the character's mission to Sea Mauville results in this comment from BackSet:
  BackSet: Behold! A shit ton of Exposition!
• When computers are brought up in the IC, Arcanist says he knows just the guy for the job. BackSet (jokingly) believes he means Jay.
• BackSet's apt summarization of what happens when Real Life Writes the Plot:
  Whimsy: *Get's grazed by a bullet* Ow. That hurts a lot but I'm fine.
  Gracia: *has a cold* I am incapacitated!
• Arcanist and Charcoal_Lily end up writing a long interaction between their characters while BackSet procrastinates on their time skip. Eventually Arcanist releases this gem:
  Arcanist: Quick, skip! Before we write any more interactions!
• In the IC a time when Professor Birch was half frozen by a Cryogonal was brought up. Meanwhile, in the OOC...
  BackSet: Ezra tell us why the hell a Cryogonal was in Hoenn! You're Professor Birch's assistant he must have told you! The world needs to know!
  Arcanist: He can't possibly disclose such information! Birch has him under oath not to be talking about such secret things ...but he'd probably burst and die if he didn't tell someone.
• BackSet is rather into Self-Deprecating Humor when it comes to his precieved narcissism, which can be funny to some. Given that BackSet is currently writing this entry he is likely entirely right on this front.
• In the IC Spiritomb speaks in green and purple, alternating colors every letter. BackSet continually laments the pain he has to go through to color the dialogue which eventually leads to him completely breaking down.
