- Several moments during the montage of Rex's early years are pretty funny.
- Rex stealing the attention of the Queen away from Prince Philip. At night when they both are getting ready for bed, Rex appears out from under the sheets and immediately does the Queen give him lots of affection. Prince Philip wanted nothing to do with it.
- Rex playing with Philip's Union Jack slippers, much to his dismay. The Queen even gladly offered hers to Rex in one scene.
- The Queen playing fetch with Rex using… wait for it… one of her husband's slippers.
- The palace was decorated for the US State Visit… with decorations that look like they would belong in an Independence Day party across the pond.
- Donald Trump taking selfies around the Palace.
- When he first greets the Queen, he takes her hand and takes her around his arm for a selfie, startling her. The Queen even cracks an awkward smile for the selfie.
- Prince Philip was just standing there the whole time as the President breached protocol.
- And again, when the Queen sees Trump taking a selfie with a Royal Guard, she just shrugs and walks off.

- There was so much merchandise made with Rex's image, from balloons to mugs to underwear of all things. He was that popular of a corgi!
- As Mitzi pursues Rex under the table in the banquet hall, Rex suddenly bites Trump in a Groin Attack, causing him to spill the food he had in his mouth on the Queen's dress. He picks him up to show her that it was Rex who caused the mess, with his torn trousers revealing that he's wearing underwear with the American flag on it!
- Several moments during Rex and Charlie's escape from the Palace:
- The two dogs use royal jelly to stick themselves on the ceiling.
- Philip is seen walking wearing one of the Queen's slippers on one foot, obviously too small for him.
- One of the Royal Guards suddenly pop out of a shrub when searching for Rex.
- Mitzi being overly affectionate towards Charlie once he is about to be sent to the President as Top Dog.
