Part 1
- Bolin still can't help but make small talk with the bad guys, which includes Ping right after he and Mako arrest him. Mako, who's driving, sports an expression of pure defeat as this goes on.
- Tenzin commenting that a winged lemur would have more chance of winning the presidential election than Raiko. Followed immediately by Meelo holding up Poki and saying "Yeah! Poki for President".
- Raiko's approval rating being -3. He's running unopposed.
- Raiko's campaign poster of him as a muscular giant punching The Colossus. Not long after he states how ridiculous it is, Korra comes in to snark at it, too.
- "I bet if spirits could vote, you'd change your tone!"
- Mako's minor Heroic BSoD when he finds out both of his exes are now dating each other. His brother in particular looks gleeful about his awkwardness. Karma at its finest...
Part 2
- Bolin specifically mentioning that Korra and Asami kissed in the official police report of the battle at the spirit portal, and concluding it with "The end". Mako is predictably exasperated.Mako: I asked you to finish the report, not write a romance novel.
- And surprisingly, the main issue Lin has with it isn't that Bolin included it in the first place, it's that his handwriting is terrible.Lin: Your penmanship looks like possum-chicken scratch!

- Bolin continues to needle Mako in classic brotherly fashion, asking if he really isn’t bothered at all that his two exes ended up with each other.
- Bolin's Freak Out on Skoochy makes him realize that he's the Bad Cop while Mako's actually Good Cop.
- When Raiko's assistant attempts to stop Korra from meeting him without an appointment, Korra metalbends a piece of metal to cover his mouth without looking.
- Meelo reveals his idea to march the airbenders wasn't the peace march the rest of the family had in mind and instead intended to fight Raiko.
- Varrick being... well, Varrick in wolfing down the lone Varri-cake he'd saved then being cowed into giving Zhu Li a massage after initially sitting down to attempt ordering her around like the old days.
- Tokuga's new form is pretty horrific, but him pointing accusingly at Korra with his tentacle, complete with an elbow-bend, just looks amusing.
Part 3
- Mako apologizing for acting weird around Korra and admitting it was mainly due to the fact that it was a little weird for his head to wrap around the fact that his exes are dating.
- Korra asks if she can borrow Oogi from Tenzin, and he implores her to be careful, leading to this line from Korra.Korra: When have you ever known me to be careful?
Tenzin: *sigh* - After helping Asami up, Korra says that she'd steer the airship. Asami after clearing her throat points that she's seen how Korra drives and suggests she steer the ship instead. Korra doesn't object to this.
- Bolin and Mako go to chase after Tokuga in the Spirit World and Bolin yells at the vines.Bolin: Quit poking me, vines! These are new boots!
- Bolin telling his brother and admitting that he doesn't want to be a part of the police force anymore. He then draws it out to be like a tearful and heartfelt farewell, which Mako is having none of.Mako: But I'm going to see you at home, in like two hours.
