     The Beast of Fairy Tail

  • Haru returns home after being gone for a while, and the moment Gray greets her, she sees that he doesn't have his clothes on, again. This leads to Natsu butting heads with him, telling him not to flirt with Haru, though Gray quickly denies that he was.
  • When Haru meets Lucy, she's very friendly to her... but then she teasingly asks if she's her brother's new girlfriend, leading to this little gem.
Natsu: She's not my girlfriend! (Beat) Are you?
    Lucy: NO!
  • Later, as they're getting ready to head out for their next job, Blue Fang is all too eager to run to the next town with Natsu, Haru, Lucy, and Happy on his back. Lucy is very much afraid, especially when she finds out that Blue Fang doesn't wear a saddle. Cue Lucy screaming her head off while clinging to Natsu for dear life as the wolf takes off running.
Lucy: GET ME OFF THIS CRAZY RIDE!!!
    • She then decides at that moment that Haru really is Natsu's sister, judging by her own amount of crazy.
  • When the group arrives in Aurora Village, Happy is figuring out how to divide up the reward so that everyone gets their fair share... but he doesn't count Lucy, who yells at the cat for counting himself, the Dragneel Siblings, and Blue Fang.
Lucy: He's a wolf! What would he want with money?!
    • Of course, Haru scolds Happy for leaving Lucy out.
  • After Haru uses her magic to calm down a pack of guard dogs, Blue Fang immediately gets jealous of the affection she gives them.
  • After the battle with the bandits and Haru defeats their boss, she goes into an apologetic frenzy when she realizes that she destroyed a few houses in the village.

     The Stray Beast

  • Haru comes to visit Lucy in her new apartment and even brings a housewarming gift. When Lucy comments on how thoughtful she is, Haru mutters that it's better than her brother's plan of just barging unannounced, and Natsu is soon heard sneezing from somewhere.
  • At the guildhall, Natsu can't decide what kind of job he wants to go on, and an impatient Gray urges him to pick a request, prompting the two to start their usual brawl.
  • The way Lucy and Haru gush over Apollo, the spirit of Canis Minor in this series, doubles as this and Heartwarming.
  • Chapter 2 opens with Natsu walking through the East Forest, muttering about his annoyance Gray.
Natsu: Stupid Gray and his stupid black hair and his stupid stripping habits and his stupid ice magic and his stupid, stupid face...!
Happy: Aye, I get it. Gray is stupid.
    Natsu: Well, he is!
    • The flashback opens with Natsu as a child, doing the exact same thing!
  • The following chapter, a teenage Erza attempts to reason with Haru, who was a feral child back then, and goes into the infirmary to talk to her. When she comes back not even 30 seconds later, she's covered in bite marks and her hair is all frazzled. Even Haru was too much for someone like Erza to handle back then!

     Breaking the Ice

  • Though she claims she's not upset, Haru goes into a comical sulk when she learns that Natsu left on a job without her.
  • After he agrees to go on a job with her, Haru happily hugs Gray... only to realize he's not wearing his shirt, which flusters the both of them.
  • When Cana points out that Natsu won't be happy about Gray working with Haru, cue the Salamander himself sneezing on his way to his job with Lucy and Happy.
  • Just as they're getting ready to leave, Mirajane hands Haru an extra bag of clothes...Gray's clothes, to be more specific. It doesn't take long for Haru to figure out why.
  • In chapter 2, as Haru and Gray wait outside the mansion where they're supposed to meet their client, Blue Fang takes a moment to seemingly appreciate the statues in the garden...only to relieve himself on one of them.
  • As Haru makes a mental note of how cute Lucy would look like in a maid outfit, cue a scene change where Lucy is indeed wearing one for the job...leaving Natsu dumbfounded.
  • While at their hotel room, Haru has just gotten out of the bath and is about to offer Gray the bathroom when she sees that he's lying in bed...in his underwear.
    • She even notes that his snowflake pattern underwear is "tasteful".
  • Gray and Haru follow their target into the sewers, and as Gray comments on the foul smell, Haru quips that it's not as bad as Natsu's morning breath, which makes him snicker.
  • The two soon encounter a huge black panther, and at first, Haru tries using her Beast Siren spells on it to get it to obey her...only to realize that it's tone-deaf.
