The 15 Keys Rising is more serious, and not very funny, but some parts can strike as funny.
- The hunter machines have plasma cutters instead of standard issue energy blades. It seems bad but results in this gem.
- "Why does it have a PLASMA CUTTER!?"
- "Oh you know... for cutting... people... specifically you."
- A good deal of dialogue between Zach and Hopey can be this.
- "I hope Lucy is okay..."
- "Pizza."
- *both*"PIZZA!!!!"
- When Zach meets Aelita is worthy of mention here, especially since she is going through a rougher time than depicted in her own series.
- "You know what it's like when you lose a first love?" "Well... Yes and no. Does pizza count as a lover?" "Sure, why not?"
- Doubles as heartwarming as you realize Zach is being an idiot to cheer Aelita up.
- "You know what it's like when you lose a first love?" "Well... Yes and no. Does pizza count as a lover?" "Sure, why not?"
- After Zach fights his way through cyborgs he is greeted by this line from Aelita
- "The front door was unlocked."
