Farmer Mill's complaint about having to chase "them staggering corpses" out of his turnip crop again. There's just something incredibly humorous about somebody treating literal zombies like an everyday nuisance.
Doc Carver's entrance, which has him slowly rise from behind his station while never breaking eye contact with you, is supposed to be Nightmare Fuel (and for a lot of players it definitely is) but the stilted animation, as well as his googley-eyes and nonchalant greeting right after just gives the whole thing a rather silly undertone and more than a bit of Narm.
When you arrive at Miss Undertaker's hut, she's busy beating the crap out of a Stringless. Nonetheless, the second she notices you she puts her shovel away and welcomes you as if nothing happened.
