WARNING: SPOILERS ARE UNMARKED FOR THIS PAGE. ANIME ONLY FANS, BEWARE OF SPOILERS FROM THE LIGHT NOVEL AND MANGA.

  • Episode 1: Dietrich has an entire speech planned for how to deal with Rishe and her list of fictitious crimes, to end in her exile. The only time he manages to get it all out is the first loop. In subsequent loops, Rishe interrupts him - sometimes before he's finished even breaking the engagement.
Dietrich: Rishe, halt and hear me! I have spent the past week perfecting my recitation of your crimes!
    • In the seventh loop, Dietrich is so determined to finish that recitation of her crimes that he goes in a carriage to Rishe's house - also making sure her parents know about the exile. Rishe, however, is only dismayed that she can't retrieve her money and belongings, because her parents will lock her out of the house after the accusation. When she complains about being upset and having bad luck to see him again, Dietrich manages to interpret it as her being heartbroken. Rishe tells him, in detail, that that is not the case. To the point that the crowd he brought along as an audience to her humiliation starts to snicker at Dietrich instead, because it looks more like she's dumping him.
  • Episode 2: Dietrich's father the King arrives, desperate to prevent a diplomatic incident and the possible start of a war. He promptly grabs his son, and drops to his knees, grinding Dietrich's face in the dirt while apologizing to both Arnold and Rishe for his son's conduct, and begging Rishe to accept Arnold's proposal for the sake of the kingdom. What makes this funny is that, simultaneous with the King's apologies, Dietrich is complaining in the background, desperate to be let up again.
  • Episode 3:
    • Rishe awakens in a luxurious bedroom, and Oliver knocks on the door. "Just a minute!" she calls, leaping out of bed. We get a shot of her nightgown being tossed over the back of a chair, and then cut to Oliver standing in the hall, hearing noises. A moment later, Rishe yanks open the door, fully dressed, and breathing hard. Looking that put together without a maid's assistance is no small endeavor, but doing it in literally under a minute is miraculous when your clothes are that complicated.
    • The wine prank, and how it backfires on the pranksters when Rishe drinks it with a perfectly straight face, and then insists on finishing it even when they aren't in sight. Until Arnold takes the glass out of her hand and drinks it himself.
  • Episode 4: Rishe invites Arnold for a midnight snack, having been out late and not eaten herself. However, as she finishes preparing the soup, she realizes that it tastes terrible (because she cooked for nutrition, not for flavor) and has to admit to Arnold that she's a terrible cook. But before she can offer to get him something else that's already prepared, Arnold takes the soup, tosses it back, and declares it tastes good. Rishe, remembering the wine prank that he finished drinking, wonders if Arnold lacks taste buds.
Rishe, thinking: I don't think he can tell good flavors from bad.
Arnold: Hey. You're thinking something disrespectful, aren't you?
    Rishe: N-No, not at all!
  • Episode 7:
    • After her training spar with Arnold, Rishe's arms and legs are shaking too badly for her to even stand up. When she explains this to Arnold, he thinks for a minute, asks "Is it okay if I'm wearing glove?" and picks her up before she can answer or even figure out what he's asking. Rishe freaks out and shrieks, very embarrassed, asking him to put her down. Arnold, very amused, simply carries her back to her room.
    • When Rishe is trying to get Arnold to nap, at one point she focuses on his neck scars being visible. Sensing her focus even with his eyes closed, Arnold tells her to do what she wants, but after a moment of her touching the scar and tracing it up to his neck, his hand reflexively snaps out to stop her. Rishe assumes she was tickling him, but the look Arnold gives her suggests there was a different problem - one that has a lot to do with the fact that he doesn't have permission to touch her back.
Arnold: If we were going to do this, then I should have worn gloves. If I had, then I could have made a counter-stroke.
Rishe: *flushing* It isn't as though touching me with gloves or through cloth makes it all right!
Arnold: It was a joke. *lies back down*
    beat
Rishe, thinking: His Highness is so sincere and oddly conscientious. While I, on the other hand...
Rishe: *opens her collar* Please, go ahead.
    Arnold: And do what?
Rishe: *looking to the side, holding her collar open* I felt I wasn't being fair. If it would make Your Highness feel better, then you should touch me and have your reven—
Arnold: *throws a pillow on her face, and tries to hold her down* Are you doing this on purpose?
    • After Rishe has slept beside Arnold in an attempt to help him nap, she wakes up having forgotten where she is and what she was doing. For a moment she sputters, clearly not remembering how she and Arnold ended up in the same bed, and he teases her about it. Then, Oliver knocks on the door. Rather than let her slip out, Arnold throws the blanket over Rishe's head, tells her to be quiet, draws the curtains, and asks Oliver to come make his report. Oliver isn't able to see anything, and Arnold shoos him out fairly quickly, but Rishe's embarrassment and Arnold's clear amusement at sneaking around with her in plain sight really sells the scene.
  • Episode 8: In the marketplace, Rishe buys some slices of a fruit from Coyelles, which looks very strange. She tries to feed it to Arnold, claiming it's nutritious. Arnold is visibly reluctant to do so, even trying to claim there's no way he's going to eat something that looks like that. Then Rishe beams, and repeats, "It's nutritious." Sighing audibly, Arnold gives in and takes a bite. When she asks how it was, he answers, "It tastes... nutritious," and is clearly not interested in a second bite. Rishe teases him about his bitter expression. Bonus points for being an ongoing joke about whether or not Arnold has taste buds.
