WARNING: SPOILERS ARE UNMARKED FOR THIS PAGE. ANIME ONLY FANS, BEWARE OF SPOILERS FROM THE LIGHT NOVEL AND MANGA.

  • The first scene of the anime depicts the final moments of Rishe's 6th life, as a crossdressing knight defending a castle from Arnold's forces. There's no music playing– only the sounds of rain pouring and swords clashing. The moment Arnold steps out of the shadows to face Rishe's group, lightening illuminates his face, and dramatic music begins. Rishe's group lunge towards him, only to be cut down quickly by Arnold, including poor Riseh being impaled, her last moments spent knowing she's about to go back in time but still in pain and wishing she did more.
  • Rishe's plight at the start of the first loop - her fiancé publicly breaks their engagement, accuses her of a list of crimes she knows nothing about, and then sentences her to exile. When she tries to go home, she finds her parents have heard the news and responded by disowning her and locking her out of the estate, removing the rest of her support network. She's left wandering the streets with only the clothes on her back and no skillset to improve her situation or any idea what to do. She's spent her entire life preparing to be Dietrich's wife, and told that is the sole point of her life - and now, that plan has been shattered, and she has no idea what to do and no skills to do anything else. If Kaine Tully hadn't come by when he did, and told her to look at it as an opportunity while giving her a ride out of the country, who knows how it would have ended up?
  • Arnold's father the Emperor of Galkhein has kept other countries from retaliating against him by demanding hostage brides from their royal families and forcibly marrying them all. And even then, it doesn't mean he'll leave a kingdom alone.
“Galkhein was an expansionist empire. Currently, peace reigned—but peace was precarious. If Galkhein demanded any of the countries to hand over a princess bride, then none were in a position to refuse. With his daughter in the hands of a foreign power, no king would dare oppose a war that power cared to wage.” -Excerpt From 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy! (Light Novel) Vol. 1, Touko Amekawa & Wan Hachipisu
    • The current Emperor intends to continue this tradition of hostage brides into future generations; while he did not order Arnold to marry, he said that he would only allow Arnold to marry a woman from another country's royal family, rather than a woman from Galkhein. Rishe just barely manages to qualify because her father is a Duke and she has blood ties to a branch of the royal family. Even so, Arnold felt the need for a bit of subterfuge: he sent a message back home that included the information of Rishe's recent breakup and implied that he had been the cause of it, taking advantage of the breakup to 'steal' Rishe afterwards. He also warned Rishe of the subterfuge. She doesn't mind, because it gives her an excuse to be lazy, but the horror of the wives for who it's a reality, like Arnold and Theodore's mothers and the current Empress?
    • Furthermore, the tradition of hostage brides and Royally Screwed Up family may predate the current Emperor's generation, given this comment of Theodore's when he's trying to get Rishe to run away from Arnold:
Theodore: I pity you. Dragged all the way here, not as a bride but as a captive. As far as I know, no empress has ever led a happy life in Galkhein.
  • Arnold made his reputation and earned his Crown Prince title during Galkhein's most recent war, which ended around three years ago - when he would have been ''sixteen''. It is not stated how long the war was, when it started, or how long Arnold served in it. But all signs indicate he came out of the war a Shell-Shocked Veteran, and with a reputation for ruthlessness and talent for war. To make matters worse, Arnold wasn't just a fighter; he was a commander, making decisions on the battlefield. Some of his reputation may be inflated by rumor, but there is no denying he has a lot of blood on his hands.
  • Arnold survived several murder attempts by his own mother, possibly including the attempt at age nine to stab him in the neck with a dagger that left scars covering his neck and left shoulder. He eventually killed her; in previous loops, with the additional killing of his father, he became a Self-Made Orphan.
  • Rishe still has no idea what is causing the time loops, or if there are an infinite or limited number of them. This causes her to live each life like it's her last, but also desperately hope that each death isn't the final one with no further redo attempts.
  • Theodore's attempted suicide right in front of Rishe's eyes would be bad enough, but his reasoning for doing so - to be useful to his brother at any cost - is horrifying.
  • Black hair and blue eyes are an incredibly rare combination, and yet all of the Galkhein Emperor's surviving children have them despite being from an assortment of different mothers. That's because the Emperor killed any child who didn't inherit the combination, which matches himself. The first time Arnold saw someone killed, it was a little sister who wasn't lucky enough to inherit those looks. And afterwards the emperor lectured him on the supremacy of his blood. This is also why Arnold's own mother and the other wives hated Arnold, for surviving where their children did not and for resembling the Emperor. It's not clear if the same feelings extended to Theodore and their surviving sisters as well, or if only Arnold was forced to witness the multiple infanticides alongside the unlucky mothers. And we wondered why Arnold hates his eyes to the point that he confesses to Rishe he fantasized about gouging them out of his own sockets.
