The books

  • In Risto Räppääjä ja kauhea makkara, Serena is comically terrified of a sausage covered in green pepper that Ricky bought. After she tells him to get rid of it, he just throws it in the bathtub and covers it with foam. Serena thinks that Ricky made her a bath and gets in, notices the sausage, screams and throws it out of the window where it hits Lennart.
  • In Risto Räppääjä ja Nuudelipää, Ricky is singing a song about Nelly "Noodlehead" while getting out of bath dressed in Serena's pink frilly robe, unbeknownst that Serena invited Nelly over. Upon seeing her, he hides in a coat rack naked. Serena offers to bring him clothes:
Serena: Will I bring the Moomin shirt?
    Ricky: No!
Serena: Will I bring the Piglet shirt?
Ricky: Bring my Batman shirt! And pants! And tell her to go away!
  • In Risto Räppääjä ja Pakastaja-Elvi, Fanny demonstrates how determined she is to get rid of head lice by singing a song about fighting them with swords and sabers.
  • In Risto Räppääjä ja komea Kullervo, Ricky's over-the-top sadness about how Nelly hates him after he tried to tape a (not that offensive) sign on Kullervo's back. Especially the illustration of him crying on his bed with tears flying everywhere.
  • If you listen to the audiobooks based on the books, it can be funny hearing the otherwise rather deadpan reader rapping.

The movies

  • In Ricky Rapper, Fanny demonstrates to Ricky what good music is supposed to sound like by hammily singing the old Finnish war song "Kauan on kärsitty".
    • Fanny and her theatre crew chasing Lennart while chanting about bagging and freezing. He thinks that they're a criminal gang, but it turns out they just want him in their play.
  • In Ricky Rapper and the Bicycle Thief, Fanny tries to call Ricky and Nelly for dinner by hitting a gong. When she sees that they've ran away, she hammily exclaims "Somebody won't be eating sipatti today!" and sings a song about how nobody escapes her while going after them.
  • In Ricky Rapper and Cool Wendy, Nelly and Wendy's teen slang-filled song is interrupted by Ricky doing a very over-the-top rap number and jumping in a tree.
