Funny / Owls and Souls, Witches and Resonance

• Sid Barrett's devotion to teaching is so great, he will kill himself to be resurrected as a zombie in order to give remedial classes to Black Star and Tsubaki. Absolutely nobody is impressed by his decision, with Spirit mentioning the nurse — who happens to be Medusa Gorgon, mind you — was thoroughly disgusted.
• Even Eda herself is surprised by just how easily she beat Adeghast.
• Hunter/The Golden Guard is a bit offended by the idea that Witch Order territory is the "mainland" of the Demon Realm, as if the Isles don't count as a continent by themselves.
• Apparently Luz once somehow ended up accidentally locked in a pizzeria overnight.
• Maka actually reading a book while on a motorcycle with Soul.
• Luz is talking to Willow about her lunch, and when the latter mentions that it had blood oranges in it, Luz is surprised that witches have them too. Then Willow reveals that in the Demon Realm, the "blood" part is a Literal Metaphor.
• When Bump is calling the Emperor's Coven about Luz's presence in Hexside, a watching Luz mutters wistfully about how she wishes that Earth call transfers worked so smoothly.
• Maka and Soul's conversation about how much Soul enjoys eating Kishin Egg souls, with Maka even jokingly suggesting trying one herself.
• When discussing what to do with Luz, Owlbert suggests making Hooty her babysitter, much to Eda's disgust.
• Spirit gets on Stein's case for trying to smoke inside a hospital, confiscating his box of cigarettes in a blink and asking where he even keeps them all. Then, a few minutes later when Stein pulls out another box he finds it cut down the middle, along with the cigarettes inside.
• When Spirit says that Soul is a "smug little smartass who’s too cocky for his own good", Stein tease him by claiming that Spirit used to be the same way, which the Death Scythe ignores.
• Owlbert acting like a mother hen when healing Eda after her aborted curse transformation, even headbutting her hand to keep her from using magic.
• When King is informing Luz about Demon evolution, she can't help but think of Pokémon.
• When Black Star learns that Soul is in the hospital wing he decides to visit... by kicking in the door without even trying the handle first, then yelling in the sleeping Soul's face that he's there, and that Soul can open his eyes, because he'll be cured for sure with just one look at Black Star's face. Luckily, Blair is there to put him under a sleep spell.
• King thinks he's found a "cheat" to the shifting doors, not realizing that the spell affects the windows as well.
• King is even less impressed with the Snaggleback in this AU than he was in canon, even saying that he's not on King's list of subjects because he's too pathetic to have pulled it off. He is also very unimpressed when the Snaggleback tries to claim that he came into the Owl House for shelter, despite the fact that Eda is The Dreaded.
• After Soul wakes up, he cracks that he feels like one of Stein's dissection labs.
