• Episode 5:
  • When Amato mechanizes MechaBot into an umbrella, the transformation sequence ends by cutting to a closeup of MechaBot's unamused face with the power-up theme suddenly fizzling out.
  • During the fight with Janitoor in the gym, Deep occasionally offers commentary from the sidelines while using various exercise equipment, absurdly carefree given the circumstances.
• In episode 6, Amato and MechaBot mechanize while the former has a tire stuck around his midsection, resulting in a goofy appearance for the Mechamato armor — the tire is still there, but now has MechaBot's mouth on it. Amato pokes the tire in dismay while looking at it with disappointed puppy eyes, and even Ninjamera, who had been charging at them, suspends his attack and just stands there staring in disbelief, his grip on his nunchucks going slack and letting them drop on the ground.
  Ninjamera: Uh...
• In episode 10, the students evacuate school in what they're told is a fire drill. Pian and Amato are the last to leave; as they run up to join the others, panting, the loudspeaker announces matter-of-factly:
  "Everyone survived, except for Pian and Amato, who burned in the fire just now."
