Mara is BoBoiBoy's (possibly late) mother.
There's no hinting at this, but she has a similar orange baseball cap and has an animal motif (her headphones used to have cat ears, and BoBoiBoy's hat looks like a dinosaur or some monster). She could have died sometime in-between the events of the two shows and BoBoiBoy always wearing his cap could be a way to honor and remember her. For comparison, Ying also wears a hat but discards it during school while he keeps it on.Female Maskmana is BoBoiBoy's mother.
Instead of Mara, BoBoiBoy's mother identity maybe a new character and the female Maskamana in stinger of the end of Season 2 could be her all along. She has Pian's Malay voice-actor and Mara's English voice-actress. In Raya 2021 video, while her face still not revealed, she shown wearing a high-tech gauntlet. Hinted that she also part of superhero like her husband. So the female Maskamana could be new character and possibly Amato's future wife.
