* Warz ''freaking out'' when Marvelous grazes him with a bullet in episode 11, in a wonderful subversion of a [[AuthorityEqualsAsskicking usual Sentai trope]].

** A bit of Fridge Funny in the otherwise somber GraveMarkingScene with the offerings representing each of Gai's surviving teammates. The offering representing Ako is, of all things, a cup of Ako-chan Ramen. Seems as though the business, despite the Ramen Jigen-induced side effects, somehow continued even after that episode and even twenty years on. Ako becoming an idol probably helped at least revive it for her image and keep it [[JustForPun soaring]]. It gets funnier meta-wise when you know that this memorable episode of ''Jetman'' was the first writing job in the franchise of Naruhisa Arakawa, the head writer of ''Gokaiger''. The CallBack is practically him patting himself on the back for one of ''Sentai's'' most memorable episodes.

** MoodWhiplash moment: As the Gokaigers are talking about Basco's suspicious actions that going him wanted again, Gai's nowhere to be found. Cue our ChromeChampion, holding a mini Christmas tree singing "Jingle Bells."

The video has Marvelous being asked to film the video in an [[TastesLikeDiabetes overly saccharine manner]] who the promise of [[ComicallySmallBribe 10 free curry coupons]], which results in [[TroubledProduction multiple retakes]] when he simply [[BadBadActing cannot do so convincingly]]. After he and the director, [[AsHimself Hiroya Matsumoto]] [[HostilityOnTheSet get into an argument with each other]], [[OnlySaneWoman Ahim]] takes over and does the video herself. After she manages to get to the end, Marvelous and Matsumoto return, having worked out an agreement (a month’s supply of free curry, to finish the shoot.

* Episode 6's monster has the GameBreaker ability to ''see laser traps,'' and manages to creep between them flawlessly - until he's caught in the act by Luka, and proceeds to introduce himself [[LargeHam in true toku villain fashion.]] ''[[IdiotBall Which causes him to cross ALL the lasers]]''.

** A bit of HilariousInHindsight, but why were the Gokaigers there? They were hunting down a MonsterOfTheWeek that traveled through time, and mistook [[Series/SamuraiSentaiShinkenger Shitari]] for him. Meaning that poor old Shitari was practically killed by ''mistake''.

** It's even better, since it wasn't scripted and the Gokaigers actors decided to do what they did just for the fun of it.

*** It's funnier when you realized that that Daita, the original KiRanger, had to do the same thing, turning this into a Funny MythologyGag.

*** Everyone except for [[TokenGoodTeammate Ahim]], who even remarks "I'm not too different here."

** Also, a crowd has gathered to watch Gokai-Oh. [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere Then they start getting bored and leaving when there are no results.]]

* Basically, anytime Don does anything, ever

** At the end of the episode, Navi admits that not all of the powers are going to be useful, and then paints the fourth wall by telling the kids in the audience to conserve energy. So he's making fun of preachy messages...[[HypocriticalHumor while delivering a preachy message]].

** When Navi is hiding from [[spoiler: a summoned Gokai Red]] in the Gokai Galleon cockpit, he notices that he's gone and flies up out of cover...only to notice he's standing right at the door.

** While Isarn and Jealoushitto are fighting over Kyosuke (set to opera music while Isarn twirls Kyosuke all over the place to keep him from Jealoushitto), the Gokaigers are just hanging out on the sidelines and pondering aloud about what's going on. It takes Isarn yelling at them to quit standing around before they snap out of it and transform.
