• Natsuki has to explain to Duran that Frisbee is not the same as Skeet Shooting.
• Kiyohime manages to tangle her multiple necks trying to catch a fly.
• A traffic cop stops Natsuki when she's carrying Kiyohime as a passenger on her bike and cites her for six counts of a passenger riding without a helmet.
• Duran chases Hari up a tree, to Akane's consternation.
• Kiyohime, having watched a nature documentary about snakes with Natsuki, tries to eat a boiled egg whole. Shizuru remarks that it's another sad case of a CHILD imitating something they saw on t.v.
• After a bout of intimacy on the sofa, Natsuki notices that Shizuru seems to be covered in silver glitter. Shizuru remarks that Natsuki is, too. After a moment they realize that it's because Duran was sleeping on the sofa earlier, and shedding.
• Shizuru wakes Natsuki because she hears noises coming from downstairs, and fears it might be a prowler. Natsuki wakes Duran and they go downstairs, only to find that Kiyohime is trying to break the diet that the vet put her on and get into the fridge for a midnight snack.
• Kiyohime ends up being a Supreme Chef.
• Natsuki is out in the snow, and trips over a burrow that Kiyohime dug, landing face first in the snow.
• Alyssa bought, as a gift for her "half-sister by way of science experiment", a jar of Pumpkin Spice flavored mayonnaise. Shizuru can only comment that American holiday customs are strange.
• Haruka asked Yukino to have Diana fake up a clean and tidy college dorm for her mother to see during a visit to the campus. After she's gone, it's revealed that Haruka has left the place in a state that is less than organized.
• Shizuru gets a thoughtful look after reading a fortune cookie. Natsuki asks her what she's thinking about. Shizuru goes into a frank description of wanting to make love to Natsuki right there on the table. Natsuki rolls her eyes, then tells her she's going to walk Duran. Shizuru pouts to Kiyohime that it isn't nice of the people who make fortune cookies to print lies for their fortunes. Her own particular fortune, "Honesty Is the Best Policy".
