• Ali G has many Comically Missing the Point moments:
  • Ali G doesn't understand why it is that "Youth in Asia" is blamed for killing many patients.
  • Ali G doesn't understand the difference between Homo Sapiens and Homosexual, and Bilingual and Bisexual.
  • He also believes that feminism is actually lesbianism.
• The scene where Borat goes to a cowboy bar and sings "Throw the Jew Down the Well". He can barely carry a tune and is carrying a detuned guitar which closer inspection reveals he is not actually playing. The audience claps and cheers along to it anyways.
• Ali G's interviewees often realize the prank nature of the interviews and try to play along to varying degrees of success. Linguist Noam Chomsky, in contrast, took the interview completely serious and replies to Ali G's less than serious questions, about the differences between bilingual and bisexual and the feasibility of creating a new language, in his usual monotonous voice.
