Funny / Children of the Grimmlands

• Salem's initial Oh, Crap! when she realizes that the children are just too adorable to harm. She immediately moves to comfort them while also yelling at Watts to get them beds or food or something.
• Before the children arrived, Ozpin asked if Salem was really prepared, since it's been a very long time since she was a mother. She dismisses him. When her plan goes up in flames, she realizes that she could call him for help (Ozma was always the more domestic of the pair) but refuses to, because that would require admitting that he was right.
• After combat training, Pyrrha is found clinging to Hazel and gnawing on his leg like an animal. Keep in mind that this is before her encounter with the Darkness and any mental changes it might cause. So she's just kinda weird.
• Jaune begs to be allowed into the Pool of Darkness so that he can gain the power to protect his sisters and mother. Salem hugs him close (and is implied to have activated his Aura), kisses him on the head... and then unceremoniously throws him into the Pool.
• Apparently, Salem originally tried to keep up the facade that she was torturing the children when speaking with Ozpin. Then during one of their negotiations, Emerald ran in complaining about a spider in her room. Pretty hard to pretend to be a heartless monster after that.
• Pyrrha breaks cover to challenge Clover to a fight, but before they can even start she keeps telling him what he's doing wrong because she wants a good fight. Clover manages to convince her to play chess instead. Unfortunately, he wins. Pyrrha starts punching through walls, and when Weiss and Blake find out why they start fighting her over how chess is not stupid, and the base ends up completely leveled. It was supposed to be a stealth mission.
