Because living on the dark side doesn't mean you can't have a good laugh sometimes.
- The whole saga of the "Play Jaja Ding Dong" signs has to be seen to be believed. To sum up:
- After qualifying for the Eurovision semifinals, the band wound up watching Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga to get in the mood and found the memetic "Play Jaja Ding Dong!" scene so funny that they made signs with the phrase on it, which they held up during the semifinals.
- In the finals, they realized it would be hard to top that joke…so they made and put on masks with the face of the corresponding character, along with cardboard speech bubbles displaying the phrase. Which culminated in…
- …the actor who delivered that line, who announced the points for Iceland, giving Iceland's twelve points to Jaja Ding Dong.
- The entire story of Olli losing his bass. He forgot it on the roof of the car after a rest stop and only realized his mistake much later, at which point the instrument was nowhere to be found. And it was his best bass, too! (He did end up reuniting with it again, but it was badly battered.)
- Made even funnier by the framing of the "Live on the Dark Side" tour documentary: Right before Olli losing his bass, it shows a scene of Niko declaring, "If there's someone in the band who doesn't have a beer in his hand within a minute, then I, the managing director, will fire all of you." One can't help but wonder if the events are related.
- Joonas posting about the band's tour manager on Instagram while in Mariehamn: "This guy keeps sure that we don't get lost." Later Instagram stories reveal that the band did, in fact, get lost in Mariehamn and miss their ferry by going to the wrong port (although Joonas clarified it wasn't the tour manager's fault).
- Joonas randomly starting to sing "Wonderwall" in the middle of a live performance of "Fever". Joel's face when he notices it is priceless.
- In a later performance, also during "Fever", he can be found singing "I Want It That Way" instead. The audience joins in.
- Also during a show: Olli tells Aleksi to play one more song. Aleksi obliges…by starting to play "Dancing Queen". Cue Olli chucking a plushie at him and Joel folding up in exasperation. A bonus is Niko's comment revealing he has done this before:Niko: For fuck's sake, Aleksi, we talked about this!
- From the "Life on the Dark Side" documentary: "We have to be careful! Our drummer Lalli-Tomppa gets really angry in the morning." Cue Tommi throwing spoons at a filming Joonas.
- Joel's scarily accurate impression of Venom when his arm is covered in black paint."I. AM. VENOM."
- The video of the band reading and reacting to online hate comments is chock-full of Insult Backfire and the whole band cracking up at the accuracy of various jabs thrown at them. A highlight is this comment:"If you play Blind Channel backwards, it sounds like the Devil's music. But even worse, if you play it correctly, it sounds like Blind Channel."
