  • The random naming generator for your fleet's ships can lead to... interesting results. One example on reddit features an Imperial Fist cruiser named Eternal Eternity (you may insert your TTS jokes here).
  • When Amarkun asks Zaa what a Primarch is, the Cryptek replies "Their leader, Great One. Like them, but taller, I understand. Not to be underestimated".
  • A bit later in the same mission, upon hearing an intercepted transmission from Wolf Lord Engir Krakendoom about how he and his fleet will fight until Roboute Guilliman arrives, Amarkun notes "Not given to punctuality, this lord primarch", with Zaa replying "A failing of the flesh, Great One".
  • Zaa's words about intercepting Space Wolves' transmission also counts. "I am detecting new communication signals. Primitive, even by human standards".
  • This conversation (from the same mission):
Captain Sind Grolvoch: The Iron Hands will never yield. The Flesh is Weak!
Amarkun: Now this one has promise. Perhaps we should leave him for last.
    Zaa: Great One?
Amarkun: A passing fancy, Zaa. Let them perish in the order most appropriate, so long as they perish.
  • The random nature of many Geo Effects can often result in hilarious incidents both beneficial or detrimental to the player. Nothing like some bad guy entering the battlefield and launching into a villainous rant, only to be Killed Mid-Sentence by a group of explosive space jellyfish that just happened to be near his spawn point.
  • The Orks that captured the Forge World Mordax Prime renamed the planet Moredakka Prime.
  • Malos Vrykan's interactions with Jasul Barass of the World Eaters are quite humorous compared to the other Marked Legions by virtue of the latter being...well, a World Eater. Malos schemes with the Thousand Sons representative, indulges his sadism alongside the Emperor's Children representative, and gets along cheerily with the representative of the Death Guard, but it's clear at a glance how irritating he finds Barass.
    Malos: (utterly deadpan) Indeed...
  • Spire's response to having two Chaos fleets barrelling towards his, knowing full well he still has to face a further two (Death Guard and Black Legion) backed by the Vengeful Spirit is an utterly deadpan:
