  • In the "Pirate Radio" episode, Edie delivers this weather forecast over her aunt's old transceiver:
"There will be blue snow over Balamory this morning, and a typhoon is expected to blow the bus off to Barbados at 2 o'clock. So have your suncream ready!
    • Edie also delivers this gem that gets picked up by Miss Hoolie's kettle.
"The cows go moo, the sheep go baa, the bus goes vroom vroom vroom!"
    • It turns out it's been on the whole time unbeknownst to her.
PC Plum: Tell me, Edie, were you were you singing this song earlier?
    Edie: No! …Yes!
    • When PC Plum tries to fix it, he makes it worse.
PC Plum: Uhh, maybe this will do the trick.
(Radio feedback) Maybe this will do the trick.
Edie: Oh no! That's made it worse!
(Radio feedback) That's made it worse!
    • And when they can't find a way to turn it off, they get Archie for help. What does he do?
Edie: That's great, Archie. But can't you turn it off?
Archie: Yes! Using tried-and-tested scientific principles! Eeny, meeny, miny... moe! (presses a random button that somehow turns it off)
  • The episode "Tantrums". It has Archie losing his temper throughout the episode over some of the smallest things, and given that he is basically a child in a man's body, it becomes a lot funner.
    • First, he brings in a model of a hot air balloon he made to show to Miss Hoolie, and when he struggles to place a chick model into the basket because of the stickiness, he ends up popping his balloon out of frustration instead of using basic common sense.
    • Then he decides to build a model castle out of yogurt pots, which gets destroyed by his robot servant. To make matters worse, he then squashes his orange juice carton he recieved from Miss Hoolie.
    • Then he tries to buy juice from Pocket & Sweet, and gets increasingly irritated by Suzie, and then eats a bar of chocolate without paying. Suzie does not help to this situation either:
Suzie: ...or would you like strawberry or blackcurrent? Pineapple or cranberry? We've even got some prune juice, that'll get you going!
  • In the episode, "Snowflake Fairy", we find out that Archie's been glum from having the case of the flu. He's so glum that he stops midway through "Which Coloured House Are We Going To?".
