  • Hawks flew into his own window and then fell into a pool, where he flailed around in water and took a comedically long time for him to realize it was shallow enough to stand up in. His security footage caught it, and Mirko releases it over social media during their squabble over Izuku. In retaliation, he threatens her carrot fridge.
  • Hawks spams the UA internship offer system with a whole series of offers from Izuku, each with increasingly ridiculous things written in the name space because he doesn't know Izuku's name.
  • The cutaways to @HeroWatchOfficial, most of which are timed as punchlines to shenanigans from previous scenes.
Gang Orca, in an email: I would like to extend an offer of internship to the student currently in the announcer’s booth. Please expect a more formal and complete email to follow. Apologies for the aarghjsdnbpo8h4239499494877777777777777777777777777arhm

  • In the sequel, the Midoriyas collectively cry so much they apparently flood the UA staff room, set off the security alarms, and require the staff to seek a bilge pump. No one is surprised by this.
  • Nezu deliberately left Present Mic out of the loop regarding One For All ostensibly to test the credibility of the cover story (much to the delight of Vlad King, the normal victim of being left out of the loop), but in actuality because he wanted to record Mic's reaction to the Entrance Exam and put it on the staff chat. And indeed, when the moment comes, Mic's reaction to Izuku showing off Stormclad is suitably deafening (even through Eraserhead erasing his Quirk) until Midnight puts him to sleep.
Mic: C’mon, kiddos, green guy’s got the right idea, there ain’t no countd oooooohWAIT WHAT THE F- (“Mic!”) IS THAT MIDORIYA!? SHOUTA, NEM, ARE YOU SEEING THIS!? WHAT THE HELL!? THE F-(“Mic!”) DID YOU GUYS DO TO HIM!? HE LOOKS LIKE THE F-(“Mic!”)-ING ENERGIZER BUNNY GOT INTO POPEYE’S SPINACH SUPPLY! DID YOU LET THE BOSSRAT DO SOME F-(“Mic!”)-ING ILLEGAL EXPERIMENT ON HIM OR SOMETHING, SHOUTA !? 'NEM, DON’T YOU DARE GAS ME I NEED ANSWE-
    • Though Yamada is later mollified when Aizawa shares the video of Izuku getting One For All with him - including the part where All Might described how he activated it (clench your buttcheeks and yell "SMASH!") and Nezu snorts his tea out his nose.
  • The ending of the sequel has the UA staff celebrating Izuku's successful entry into U.A., and who is the one to give the announcement? A series of video clips of Izuku himself spliced together like a Cut-and-Paste Note. Cue "Everybody Laughs" Ending.
Izuku: I hate all of you.
  • In a deleted scene, Hawks tries to fly into UA during the sports festival, and thus the area in under higher security measures. Nedzu recognizes it's him and calls him to make sure... Then fires a specially designed missile anyway.
“Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Or is it the #5 hero coming uninvited while the UA Barrier is in high-security anti-intruder mode?”
    “Wait, what?”
“Whatever it is, it’s getting a warning shot!”
    • The missile itself is designed so the tip looks like a boot. So Nezu can see the missile literally kick Hawks' ass.
    • Hawks manages to destroy the missile and begins to boast about it... only to get caught by the second missile Nezu fired.
