Running Gag: The Doctor's comment, each time when another character had scruples due to his Catholic religion: "I'm myself a bit Catholic."
The scene of The Doctor coming to the Gerstein family bringing over as a gift "the head of a Judaeo-Bolshevik monkey". Gerstein's reaction (knowing The Doctor and his participation in the Holocaust and expecting something monstrous) is hilarious. Seconds later, the gift is unwrapped and it's a life-size monkey head made of chocolate.
