Volume 1

  • Modern!Angel's nonchalance when dealing with HYDRA attacking Avengers' Tower in Issue 8.
Modern Angel: Sorry to interrupt your villainous rant. You were really building up to something there.
  • Also in #8, Captain America with The Avengers come to questioning Modern!Hank about Past X-Men. Wolverine stated that he sarcastically wonders what that conversation is going like. Then, both Modern!Bobby and Kitty are parodying the conversation between Modern!Hank and Captain America. It has to be seen to be believed.
  • The following exchange in Issue 9, while in the Danger Room:
Teen Iceman: Can we go to Toys'R'Us, Prof. Kitty?
    Kitty: If you behave, Bobby.
  • From issue 15, Jeen running into Rachel Grey(her future older daughter from another timeline), reading each other's minds, freaking out and quickly walking away. Later awkwardly seeing each other and walking away again. All done in silent panels.
  • The fact that Logan keeps getting his vehicles stolen or dismantled in Issue 15.
  • Issue #16, when the allegedly future X-Men (actually future Brotherhood) comes and introduces themselves, Wolverine comments about future Hank (whose further mutation made him looks even more feral) as "old-as-dirt Hank McCoy". Both past and present Hank are not amused.
    Past and Present Hank: Fascinating.
    • Also, future Deadpool still has yellow textbox.
  • How Bobby just can't stop putting his foot in his mouth in Issue #18.
Kitty: I didn't expect you to hug me! You are not a hugger!
    • Past!Hank feels awkward being around Magneto and talking to him as allies.
    Past!Hank: So—do you mind if I—?
    Magneto: Be my guest.
    Past!Hank: I mean, it's not like you didn't do a good job.
    Magneto: Please.
    Past!Hank: It's—It's cute.
    Magneto: Cute?
Past!Hank: The thing is, Magneto, it was not so long ago you were trying to kill us in a murderous rage. So it's very strange to be standing here talking to you like this.
Magneto: I understood the unspoken subtext of the converstation.
  • The Stepford Cuckoos' reaction to Jean. Irma commenting that Jean's insults were directed at Celeste, and Phoebe thinking she'd make a good redhead.
  • Bobby again from #20, putting a lampshade on how terrible an idea it is to make another Wolverine.
Bobby: They make Wolverines? On purpose? ... First I can't get over the fact they purposely made Wolverine. And now I can't get over the fact that after they saw what Wolverine turned out like, they thought it might be a good idea to clone him into a teenage girl.
    • And Jean and Kitty's observations after that.
Jean: A girl that Scott Summers quite fancies.
Kitty: Scott Summers fancies the genetic clone of Wolverine?
      Jean: Yes, he does.
      Kitty: Shudder.
    • And afterwards, crossing over with Heartwarming Moments, Laura's bemused reaction to Teen!Scott giving her a Cooldown Hug when she's freaking out over waking up in a Weapon X facility. Particularly about hugging with an audience.
  • Teen Scott getting life advice from his future self.
Adult Scott: Stay away from redheads.
Teen Scott: NOW you tell me!
Adult Scott: And blondes... and psychics in general.
  • The Trial of Jean Grey event. Iceman enjoying his team up with Rocket Raccoon because being around a talking animal makes him feel like a Disney Princess.
Iceman: (to Beast) I'd make a better princess than you.
    • The comment becomes Hilarious in Hindsight when he's outed by Jean in issue 40.
    • A blink and you'll miss it moment when, after successfully rescuing Jean and making their way home, Drax the Destroyer approaches X-23 to ask where he can get a pair of boots with knives in them like Laura's.
    Laura: They're built-in.
    Drax: Nice.
    • Which is made more amusing by the fact that Laura is never shown actually using her foot claws in the first volume.
    • After the team-up, Kitty starts a long distance relationship with Star-Lord. They are often talking via a hologram communication. Teen!Iceman's reaction: "I can't believe you broke up with my older self just to date a hologram."
  • Kitty's ordering Past Iceman to hit her during a training:
Past Iceman: "I'm not hitting a girl."
Kitty: "I'm not a girl. I'm a fierce competitor, you sexist twit.
** It got intense when she kept interupting him every time he tried to talk, including calling him dumb and Ice Boy, which apparently is his Berserk Button. Then he's provoked and attacked her. The best part is Kitty still managed to take him down.
  • Issue #26 has Laura scaring off a bear by shouting.
  • Issue #30 has Jean and Emma confronting each other and it quickly goes downhill. Towards the end of it, Jean pulls a bitch move and tells Emma that her older self is the one true love of Emma's one true love. Emma just smiles and goes for the low blow, mentally projecting sex scenes between her and Scott into a horrified Jean.
    • After that, they seemingly have a psychic battle. But moments later, they are.... laughing, in impossibly friendly manner to each other. They even embrace each other. Crosses with Heartwarming Moments. Other characters who have been spying on their interaction are all surprised.
Celeste Cuckoo: They've done it. They've finally bonded.
Irma Cuckoo: Jean Grey and Emma Frost are friends now.
Magik: That is the scariest thing I've ever heard. And I grew up in hell, literally.
  • At the end of issue 31 of All-New X-Men, Laura and the rest of the O5 are shunted into the Ultimate Marvel universe and scattered across several locations. In issue 32, Laura is revealed to have popped up in the middle of a football field during a game. Her response when her unexpected appearance (and outing herself as a mutant by reflexively popping her claws) nearly triggers a riot from the entire stadium?
    Laura: Um...
    • And that's followed by a jump cut to Laura on a motorcycle fleeing from dozens of police cars.

Volume 2

  • First issue post-Secret Wars, we see newly added member Evan Sabahnur wrestling an alligator, because neither he nor fellow new member Idie Okonkwo realized that you are supposed to pay to watch someone else wrestle the gator.
