Funny / A Man Called Otto

• It's an incredibly dark kind of funny, but Otto taking the time to cut a useful coupon out of one of the newspapers he put down before his Attempted Suicide at the start is worth a chuckle.
• Otto trying to read to the daughters while attempting to a grumpy bear voice. Knowing that it matches his personality it is ironic to see him do that voice and that role when reading.
• Jimmy is a funny guy in Otto’s neighborhood who always makes witty remarks at a moment’s height. Every time he appears you’ll get a laugh out of him.
• Otto getting his beloved quarter back from the jerkass clown; explaining what happened to Marisol, she starts laughing while he smiles genuinely for perhaps the first time in the film.
• One of the key sources in the rift between Ruben and Otto is revealed to be their choice in cars; Otto likes his Chevys, Ruben likes Fords and subsequently gets a Toyota. Otto later gives Malcolm his final Chevy to deter the kid from buying a Volkswagen.
