Lara has completely dominated him. So, has she been able to find out how he did such things? Is she, perhaps, learning how from him? It would be easy enough to have him command her to do a kiss of death on someone as a demonstration of power, letting her begin to transfer the fear of him so many others feel into fear of her, allowing her to take over more openly eventually....
