Fridge Brilliance
- Wanda and Pietro once mentioned that museums were a de-facto "neutral" zone, free of the whole human vs. mutant thing. Sometime later, Magneto comes back from his mind-erasing, very angered about that, so now The Gloves Are Off (as if they had ever been on). And which is the first terrorist attack of the Brotherhood that we see? Yes, the Louvre is being raided.
Fridge Horror
- Kitty Pryde was the hero of Cataclysm: The Ultimates' Last Stand, attacking Galactus in giant size and disrupting his machines. And then you remember that her mother instructed Xavier to only teach her how to control her phasing and never do anything remotely dangerous, or else she takes her back to her house. And, if not because of a huge mess that followed the time when she sneaked into a mission, she would have been kicked out, and never become a superhero. What would have happened then when Galactus showed up?
- Iceman's father was fired from work when it was revealed that his son was a mutant. The Drake's family's domestic economy got even worse when Iceman was almost killed by David and had to endure expensive medical treatments. They were helped by a senator who wanted to sue Xavier for a hundred million, and Mr. Drake hadn't much of a choice: otherwise, they would be living in the streets in six weeks. Bobby jumped in defense of Xavier, botching the deal... and we don't see his family again after that point. One can only infer that they turned into beggars, while Bobby lives a superhero life in a luxury mansion.
- Iceman froze all the soldiers when the Weapon X attacked the mansion, but Rogue counter-attacked with the stolen powers of Jean Grey. Still, Wraith must have faced a severe case of frostbite after this attack. Not that he doesn't deserve it, but...
