Fridge Brilliance
- As Homer and Marge leave everyone in Springfield, Burns was the only one who was the least concerned about this. This turns back at when Burns got his plant back and wants to get back at Homer for mocking him. Burn's boast about getting his revenge seems more true as what better revenge than having the Simpsons kicked out of town on their 500th episode.
Fridge Horror
- Homer gets tarred and feathered compared to his family who remained unharmed. The town must still held a grudge against him for nearly getting everyone killed in The Simpsons Movie.
- However at a later point, the entire town was willing to shoot down both Homer and Marge, who nags her husband to come back to Springfield. Which means the angry mob in The Movie never had any intention to spare Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie.
- It's also likely that Patty and Selma supported their relatives to be exiled, including THEIR OWN SISTER. No wonder Marge finally breaks down.
- Where was Milhouse in all this? Did he support exiling Bart because of the times Bart messed things up between Lisa and himself ?
- Because Lisa kept rejecting him and ruined his relationship with Taffy?
- Where did Grandpa Simpson go after the family got exiled?
- He was most likely at the old folks home which is where he lives (as he only occasionally visits his son at his house)
