Fridge / The Righteous Gemstones

Go To

Fridge Brilliance:

  • It's notable that the Gemstones, for all their religious posturing, almost NEVER quote from the Bible or share any Christian stories. It only makes sense, because if any of them were serious about studying their faith, they would know their lifestyle is in complete opposition to it.

Fridge Horror:

  • Scotty's van was stolen and later he is shown driving around in another vehicle. How did he get it? He is already a little mentally unstable. Did he kill someone and steal it?

Fridge Logic:

  • In "They Are Weak, But He Is Strong" a funeral program shows Aimee-Leigh's birth year as 1955. In "Interlude 1," Baby Billy objects to her pregnancy, saying she's "well into her 40s," however, she'd only be in her mid-30s in 1989 (though that was still considered a later than average age to have a baby at the time.) Could be a case of Writers Cannot Do Math or simply a case of Baby Billy being so It's All About Me he doesn't even know how old his sister is.
