Fridge Brilliance

  • At the beginning of the story, Sara's science teacher is explaining evolution, and how there is no God. Sara of course says he's wrong. In the next chapter, the "liberals" are either gay, atheists or both. In that list of liberals are all the Pokemon characters. Why? Because the Pokemon franchise has evolution as part of the gameplay.
  • Pac-Man is considered evil for the same reason as the Pokemon, when Pac-Man is not a Pokemon at all. Why is Pac-Man among the Pokemon in the first place? Think back to the second chapter of the original story. She misspells Pokemon as "Pacman." Apparently, she thinks Pac-Man and Pokemon sound alike.
  • Why is Mega Man portrayed as evil according to Sara? Think back at the beginning Mega Man's trailer. Who was fighting before Mega Man showed up? Mario, Donkey Kong, Link and Kirby. And who among them is a part of Sara's party? Mario, Link and Kirby. And if we go with the theory where Sara judges the newcomers based on looks and actions in the reveal trailer as her only research, it makes sense that beating up the characters she judges as "Christen" would make Mega Man a "liburul".
  • Why does Kirby never perform his signature inhale ability throughout the two fics and instead uses his hammer? Kirby's inhale also allows him to copy the abilities of his enemies. By swallowing a "librul", Kirby would become one.
  • In the reboot, Sara is rewarded for her heroism by becoming Trump's heir as the President of the United States. Sounds like a regular mistake of the author...until you remember that Sara just messed with the timeline. Perhaps destroying communism led to a case of the Butterfly Effect leading to this change.
  • In the reboot, Dracula shows up when Sara’s posse is planning on going to the mall, which should logically be during the day. If one remembers that the original Sara was a fan of The Twilight Saga, which does feature Daywalking Vampires, then this could be seen as inter-continuity Brick Joke, with neither version of Sara knowing of traditional vampires being restricted to night.
  • Ridley's Sudden Sequel Heel Syndrome makes more sense when you realize that Taylor Swift, the musician he was a bodyguard for in the original, spoke out in support of the Democratic Party during the 2018 election.
