If Detective Sheridan killed Tony Giles, why didn't he appear on the security tapes?
The tapes were tampered with by Sheridan, as Sam and Dean speculated at the beginning of the episode. Interestingly, this will mean that the reason the boys are investigating involves nothing supernatural at all, yet there just happened to be a spirit involved.
