• During his first meeting with Odo, Jeyal pronounces Lwaxana's name as "Laxwana". While this could just have been Michael Ansara flubbing his line, it could also be regarded as indicative of how little respect he has for his wife — he can't even be bothered to get her name right!
• Another point of evidence that Jeyal doesn't really respect Lwaxana: he fails to notice that nobody in the wedding, including Lwaxana herself, is naked! TNG made it quite clear that Betazoid weddings have all in attendance unclothed and Lwaxana was always a stickler regarding that tradition. If he truly cared for her, he would have recognized that this wedding was a sham just from that detail alone. The fact that he saw nothing out of the ordinary also implies that their own wedding wasn't performed in a traditional Betazoid fashion at all.
