- "Fancy" is about a girl being forced into prostitution by her mother. The worst part is that Fancy's mother didn't want to do that to her, but had no other options: her children's father had abandoned them, she was dying, and she didn't have any way to keep supporting them.
- The line "Just be nice to the gentlemen, Fancy, they'll be nice to you."
- In the end, at least in the video, Fancy opens a safe home for runaway and troubled teenagers ... (ironically) hoping that they never have to fall into the life of a prostitute to make ends meet or use it as an option to get out of troubled life's circumstances.
