Fridge Brilliance

  • Baldi's Basics: The Musical ends with the player implicitly being caught by Baldi after being surrounded by the three NPCs that are most likely to lead to a capture in the actual game: Principal of the Thing (locking you in detention), Playtime (trapping you in one spot for several seconds), and It's A Bully (either blocking your escape route or depriving you of critical items).
  • Up on my Housetop is about Santa trying to deliver presents to the Neighbor, which got many wondering why the Neighbor was on the Nice list in the first place. However, all things considered, the Neighbor in Hello Neighbor: What's In Your Basement was rather merciful; everything he did was in defense of his property and privacy, and not once did he call the cops or resort to lethal force (he hit the intruder in the head with a crowbar at one point, but Tap on the Head was in full effect). Rude as he was, he'd probably be on the Jerk with a Heart of Gold side of "Nice", which would be enough for Santa.
  • In Granny, you have five days to escape, and every time you're caught, you lose a day. In Let Me Go, the captive is caught four times, meaning that last stretch is a true Race Against the Clock because it's game over if she's caught that final time. (Which she is, but Granny happens to catch her while the latter is holding a chainsaw, so the captive easily wins that fight.)

Fridge Horror

  • In 60 Seconds! The Musical, Timmy mentions that something was growling so he shot it dead. In the game itself, the event for a growling creature starts the chain of events to get Pancake, provided you use the flashlight. Timmy killed Pancake.
